About Sarah
I am a sound healing practitioner based on Bournemouth's golden coast. Whether I’m working with my local community, or on an international retreat, every session I work in creates a nurturing space for true release and surrender.
My healing practices have grown from far more than training, I’ve had profound experiences of breast cancer, supporting others through cancer treatment, and years of yoga practice. I’m devoted to the sacred importance of space, a pause, and breath.
I first discovered yoga in my twenties and, after years of practice, travelled to India in 2019 to complete my training in Goa.
Shortly after returning home, I was diagnosed with a form of breast cancer. During my treatment, the physical practice of yoga asanas became almost impossible for me.
But in this time, I learned that yoga isn’t just about what happens on the mat. I was blessed with my yoga experience, and found that meditation, breathwork, and gentle, passive healing practices became my lifeline.
A practice rooted in compassion
Following treatment, I began volunteering with Wessex Cancer Support, bringing sound healing to its weekly cancer group. I continue to work with the organisation, which gives me an intuitive understanding of how to work with people who may be navigating illness, grief or significant change.
Loss affects all of us, and shapes a healer's journey. It was the loss of my father and three much-loved dogs within a few years of each other that led me to begin fostering bulldogs. Caring for traumatised and neglected dogs became another unexpected path that led to my current sound practice, as I noticed how naturally they responded to the sound of my instruments.
It’s these life experiences that have built my sound healing practice. Gentle, welcoming, and intuitive, I hold spaces that nurture softness. In a world that prioritises movement, a pause is sometimes the most radical action we can take.
From local sound baths to international wellness
My work now heals through the incredible power of sound, working with individuals, groups, retreats and wellness spaces, with my work extending from community venues to luxury hospitality around the world.
I was one of the first to bring floating sound baths to my home, Bournemouth, through a partnership with Hilton. Now, I travel across the globe to bring my unique practice to luxury venues.
